Mi Amor Hotel

Mi Amor Hotel sought to move away from its existing Scandinavian aesthetic and develop a stronger identity that reflected both its name and its positioning as a romantic destination for couples. Inspired by the glamour and optimism of Acapulco's golden era, the redesign focused on creating a warmer, more sensual, and emotionally engaging guest experience.

The project included a complete renovation of guest rooms and public spaces, replacing high-maintenance finishes, heavy furnishings, and cooler design elements with lighter tropical woods, artisanal materials, and a carefully curated palette inspired by romance and coastal living.

Working closely with local artisans and suppliers, the design incorporated handcrafted details, rich textures, and custom furnishings that reinforced the hotel's distinctive character while improving functionality and durability.

Beyond aesthetics, every design decision was guided by the guest experience. The goal was to create an atmosphere that encouraged connection, relaxation, and memorable moments, transforming the property into a destination where couples could celebrate special occasions and create lasting memories.

The result was a complete repositioning of the hotel's visual identity, creating a more immersive and emotionally resonant experience aligned with the spirit of Mi Amor Hotel.
