Customized rug for Boutique Hotel

As part of the ongoing design evolution of Mi Amor Hotel, this custom rug collection was developed to reinforce the property's distinctive identity and guest experience.

Inspired by the hotel's jungle Art Deco aesthetic and the glamour of Acapulco's golden era, the design incorporated Mayan symbolism, vibrant colors, and handcrafted details created through traditional local techniques and natural materials.

Beyond its visual impact, the collection was designed with hospitality operations in mind. Durability, ease of maintenance, guest comfort, and long-term performance were considered throughout the development process to ensure the pieces could withstand daily hotel use while maintaining their character.

The result is a collection of bespoke rugs that celebrates Mexican craftsmanship while adding warmth, personality, and a memorable design element to the guest rooms.
