This hospitality consulting project focused on evaluating and enhancing the guest experience across a collection of boutique hotels operated by Colibri Boutique Hotels in Tulum, Mexico.
Rather than concentrating on a single design intervention, the process involved analyzing the complete guest journey—from arrival and accommodations to dining experiences, wellness offerings, amenities, operational procedures, and brand touchpoints. The goal was to identify opportunities that would strengthen guest satisfaction, reinforce each property's identity, and create meaningful returns on investment.
Recommendations were developed through a combination of hospitality strategy, guest experience design, operational analysis, and brand positioning. Each proposal was tailored to the unique character, audience, and objectives of the individual properties while maintaining consistency across the collection.
The result was a series of actionable initiatives designed to improve the overall guest experience, enhance brand perception, support operational efficiency, and create more memorable stays for visitors.
