El Pez

This full-service interior design project was developed for the expansion of El Pez Hotel, where two new guest suites were created to offer a more elevated and exclusive hospitality experience while remaining true to the property's established identity.

The design balanced continuity and distinction, incorporating original stone elements from the existing architecture while introducing a refined aesthetic tailored to guests seeking a more private and luxurious stay. Space planning played a key role in the project, including the integration of connecting rooms that allowed flexibility for families and larger groups.

Natural materials, tropical woods, woven textures, and custom furnishings were carefully selected to complement the surrounding landscape rather than compete with it. A soft neutral palette, handcrafted details, and relaxed coastal influences created an atmosphere of understated elegance and comfort.

Private terraces and plunge pools further enhanced the guest experience, transforming each suite into a secluded retreat just steps from the ocean. The result is a collection of rooms that feels intimate, timeless, and deeply connected to the natural beauty of Tulum.
